Of course when the economy is bad, scientific research is the first to go.
Maybe we should support McCain instead. He is old and frail enough to care about medical research.
But then, shouldn't Cheney be pouring money into cardiovascular research with that heart of his? Oh, no, my mistake, he probably has a completely different physiology from the rest of us.
